India landslide, 16 people buried
A landslide is believed to have buried at least 16 people in Indian-controlled western Kashmir, police have said.
The deadly landslide occurred in Chadoora, the worst-hit area in the Himalayas, where hundreds of people died in floods in September 2014.

Rescuers last night found six bodies under the mud caused by the landslide and are continuing to search for 10 others who are still missing.
Local police said 237 families had been evacuated, mostly from Chadoora.
Also yesterday, the Indian government issued a flood warning as the Jhelum River rose to alarming levels.
Floods last year in India killed about 300 people, left thousands homeless, destroyed property and infrastructure, and caused an estimated $16 billion in damage.
