"You must be wondering when our country will be like America. I assure you, this will happen to us in the near future," Prime Minister Modi told his citizens.

According to estimates, the Indian community in the US is about 5 million people - a not small number. In his speech, the Indian Prime Minister frankly acknowledged that many Indians who immigrated to the US have been very successful in their careers, because the US has a favorable environment for development, investment and innovation.

Speaking to his citizens, Mr. Modi said: "It is your success stories that are the reason to motivate Indian leaders to pay attention and quickly respond to 1.2 billion Indians - not inferior to any other country's citizens, have favorable conditions for development, and attract investment."

At the same time, Prime Minister Modi called on the Indian community in the US to regularly maintain relationships, invest remittances, and contribute to the country's progress.
