The sacred water of Lam River is brought to the Upper Hall of King Mai Temple to wash the statue of the saint and the sacrificial objects. This activity shows respect and gratitude to Mai Hac De - the one who had great merit in repelling the Northern invaders and prays for a year of national peace and prosperity, favorable weather and good crops.
