Mr. Son: 150 female workers received reproductive health check-ups

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 22, the Department of Population and Family Planning of Nghe An province coordinated with the Anh Son Labor Union to provide consultation and reproductive health examination for 150 female workers.

The people who received health check-ups and consultations this time were female workers working at Khai Hoan Export Embroidery Factory.

At the communication session, 150 female workers were consulted by doctors about reproductive health and examined as well as had ultrasound and tests. Through this activity, workers were aware of their health status and were more proactive in taking care of themselves.

This is also an opportunity for women to exchange, learn and improve their basic knowledge about reproductive health. The total cost of examination and treatment for workers this time is about 50 million VND. This activity is in response to Workers’ Month 2017.
