(Baonghean.vn) - On May 29, 2012, Anh Son District People's Court opened a mobile trial of a group that stole telecommunication lines in the district.
The group of subjects includes 4 defendants: Ha Huy Vinh (born in 1987, at Anh Son Tea Enterprise), Le Huy Sam (in Team 26-3, Youth Volunteer Team 1), Tran Quang Hieu (born in 1992, Hamlet 10, Cao Son Commune), Dang Quang Huynh (born in 1990, in Team 12/9, Anh Son Tea Enterprise). The subjects stole telecommunication lines in the area of 3 communes Cao Son, Khai Son and Long Son (Anh Son District, Nghe An). From September 2010 to March 2012, this group stole telecommunication lines 14 times to take copper cores to sell for spending money.
The jury sentenced four defendants to 84 months in prison, including: Ha Huy Vinh and Le Huy Sam each to 36 months in prison; Tran Quang Hieu to 6 months in prison; Le Van Hung (in hamlet 1, Nam Son commune, Do Luong), who had received illegal assets, also received 6 months in prison. Dang Quang Huynh was sentenced to 9 months in prison with a suspended sentence.
