Mr. Son: Evaluation of citizen reception and complaint settlement work

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 7, 2014, Anh Son District People's Committee held a conference to disseminate and continue implementing Directive 35/BCT on citizen reception and complaint settlement.

Attending the conference were the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the People's Council - People's Committee, the Party building working committees, the heads of the District People's Committee, representatives of the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, heads of agencies, units, and enterprises in the area, Party Committee secretaries, vice chairmen of the People's Council, chairmen of the People's Committee, and judicial officers of communes and towns.

Overview of the conference

The conference listened to the report on the assessment of the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, and thoroughly understood Directive 35/BCT on the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, thoroughly understood the content of the Law on receiving citizens, Decree 64/CP on detailed regulations on receiving citizens. Thoroughly understood Resolution 759/UBTVQH, 13th term, and the plan for receiving citizens of the Standing Committee of the People's Council and People's Council delegates at all levels. Approved the plan to implement Directive 35 and the Law on receiving citizens of the District People's Committee.

2015 is the year of many important political events, Party congresses at all levels, so it is predicted that the situation of complaints and denunciations will develop complicatedly. Therefore, all levels of the People's Committees of communes and towns need to disseminate the law to the people, strengthen inspection and timely handling of incidents occurring in the area, seriously implement Directive 35/BCT, maintain the citizen reception apparatus, and select competent officials to do citizen reception work.
