Mr. Son: Free medical examination and medicine in disadvantaged communes

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 27, in Vinh Son commune, the Population - Family Planning Center of Anh Son district coordinated with the Young Doctors Club of the district General Hospital to examine and provide free medicine to 150 people including the elderly, children, poor households, and policy beneficiaries in the area.

Here, volunteer doctors organized eye exams, vision tests, ultrasounds, and medicine distribution for the people. This program was held for 2 days from August 27 to 28 in 4 disadvantaged communes of Anh Son district: Duc Son, Vinh Son, Binh Son, and Tam Son.

These are communes that are still facing many difficulties in Anh Son district. The total cost of examination and medicine is 50 million VND, taken from the project of community-based elderly care fund of the provincial Department of Population and Family Planning.
