Vi Dam folk songs are folk songs created by the Vietnamese community in Nghe An during their daily life and work, bearing the identity of their homeland. They are spiritual products that reflect many aspects of the people of Nghe An, both full of energy and full of emotion.

Organizing the Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk song festival is to continue to preserve and promote the values ​​of Vi Giam folk songs towards the event of UNESCO recognizing Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk songs as an intangible cultural heritage. This is also an opportunity for clubs to meet, exchange and learn experiences, and at the same time promote the Nghe Tinh folk song singing movement among the people. Through the festival, the jury selected: Thach Son won the first prize, the second prize went to Hoa Son and Hung Son teams, the third prize went to Duc Son team and 2 encouragement prizes went to Tao Son and Linh Son.
