Mr. Son: Flood damage estimated at nearly 85 billion VND

(Baonghean.vn) – According to the report of the Department of Agriculture, by the end of September 7, the entire Anh Son district suffered an estimated loss of nearly 85 billion VND due to flooding.

The heavily flooded areas are: Dinh Son, Cam Son, Hoa Son, the entire beach area from Tam Son down to Vinh Son is covered in white water.

Human damage: There was 01 death, Mr. Lang Van Bac (21 years old, Cam Hoa village, Cam Son commune), 5 people in Khai Son were injured due to landslide that collapsed house walls,

Regarding assets and crops: 29 houses had their roofs blown off, 892 hectares of rice, 347 hectares of corn, 200 hectares of green beans, 190 hectares of sugarcane were completely flooded, 228 hectares of aquaculture ponds burst their banks. 106 livestock and poultry were swept away; 5.4 km of roads were eroded; 10 km were flooded; 1 temporary bridge was swept away; 4 electric poles were broken; 500 meters of electric wire were broken.

The district visited the victims' families in Cam Hoa and Khai Son, and together with local authorities encouraged people to overcome the consequences of the flood.
