Mr. Son: Discussion to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 6, the People's Committee of Anh Son district and the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Anh Son district held a discussion to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13).

Attending were comrade Le Hong Vinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee; Mr. Phan Thanh Mien, Chairman of Nghe An Small and Medium Enterprises Association.

Anh Son currently has 159 enterprises, branches and representative offices. Of which, there are 14 state-owned enterprises; 141 non-state-owned enterprises; 4 branches and representative offices. On average, it creates jobs for 3,500 - 3,700 workers each year.

Anh Son district leaders congratulated and rewarded a number of good production and business enterprises.

In recent years, the business community and entrepreneurs in Anh Son have made great contributions to the local socio-economic development. In 2014 and the first 9 months of 2015, businesses have paid more than 13 billion VND to the State budget. Some effective businesses include: Tay An Joint Stock Company (Block 6A Town), Anh Thanh Do Company Limited, Hung Phuc Construction Materials Production Joint Stock Company, Tay Nghe Joint Stock Company - Brick Production and Trading, Tran Minh Chau Company Limited, Dung Co Construction Company Limited (Town), Thanh Son Joint Stock Company ..

In 2015, Anh Son district had some more large investment projects such as the Cassava Starch Factory in Hoa Son commune with a total investment of more than 250 billion VND; Clean charcoal factory of nearly 320 billion VND. In addition, the Song Lam 2 Cement Factory has been invested by Hoang Phat Vissai Group with a capacity of 1,500 tons of clinker/day and has been basically completed and producing products.
