In 2014, the Party Committee and the government of Anh Son district focused on leading and directing all levels and sectors, especially the armed forces in the district, to fully and promptly implement instructions and orders from superiors on national defense and security. Local military work, force building, building safe bases, mastering combat readiness, training exercises, military transfer, and implementing military rear policies were carried out effectively.
The work of fighting against crime, maintaining social order, grasping and handling situations related to political security, social order and safety, and building a mass movement to protect national security and order has been focused on, preventing major criminal cases from occurring. The work of coordinating forces in the area, coordinating activities between the district and the grassroots to ensure national defense and security has made much progress.
On this occasion, the Chairman of Anh Son District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 08 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in local defense - military work and the movement of all people protecting national security in 2014. Awarded the emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee to the cadres and people of Dinh Son commune, and the Quyet Thang Unit to the Public Security Department of 8 communes of Binh Son, Dinh Son, Cam Son, Duc Son, Thach Son, Linh Son, Tao Son, and Tuong Son. Awarded the Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee to the collective of Tao Son commune and individual comrade Nguyen Trong Tho, Chief of Linh Son Commune Police; the collective of Khai Son Commune Military Command and individual comrade Nguyen Trong Chung, Military Commander of Khai Son Commune. The Tao Son Commune Military Command was awarded the title of Quyet Thang Unit by the Military Region 4 Command.
