(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 8, Anh Son district organized a commemorative tree planting ceremony at the Soviet Nghe Tinh historical site.

Responding to the policy of the Provincial People's Committee and commemorating the 85th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Day, Anh Son district planted 4 trees including 2 banyan trees, 1 royal poinciana tree, and 1 barringtonia tree at the relic site and offered incense and flowers to express deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives in the demonstration on September 12, 1930.
