Apply administrative sanctions to compulsory drug rehabilitation facilities
(Baonghean) - On October 28, 2014, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Plan No. 586/KH-UBND-NC on implementing Decree 221/2013/ND-CP dated December 30, 2013 of the Government on regulations on applying administrative measures of sending to compulsory drug rehabilitation facilities in the province.

Accordingly, the implementation of the Government's new regulations on the regime of applying administrative measures to send drug addicts to compulsory drug rehabilitation facilities is to improve the effectiveness of the work of preventing and combating social evils in general, and organizing drug rehabilitation and managing post-rehabilitation drug addicts in particular. Through analyzing and evaluating the difficulties and obstacles in practical implementation, appropriate solutions and remedies are proposed. The preparation of records, review and decision-making on sending people to compulsory drug rehabilitation are in accordance with the provisions of law, but create favorable conditions for localities in the implementation process.
The Provincial People's Committee requests provincial departments, branches, unions, and People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns to seriously implement Decree 221CP, first of all, by organizing a conference on the implementation of the above Decree, scheduled to be held at the end of November 2014.
