Apple stops releasing iOS 8.0.1 due to signal loss error
A week after launching the iOS 8 operating system, this morning Apple released the first software patch with an update capacity of about 80 MB. However, a few hours later, iOS 8.0.1 was removed from the OTA upgrade system because some devices encountered errors after installation.

According to many technology sites such as Mashable, MacRumor, after upgrading iOS 8.0.1 directly from the device, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 encountered a situation where they could not find a mobile network (No Service). In addition, the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on these two models could not work.
Even when iPhone 6 users try to fix it by restarting the device, restoring network settings (Reset Network Settings), the above situation still cannot be fixed. Users of other iPhone models and iPad after upgrading to iOS 8.0.1 responded that they did not encounter the same situation.
Apple said that it is actively investigating the cause of this problem and has temporarily stopped releasing iOS 8.0.1 via OTA before having official results. Some iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users said that the above error can be fixed by completely reinstalling (Restore) with iOS 8. Previously, iPhone and iPad users after upgrading to iOS 8 said that their devices' batteries drained quickly, had difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi or could not access the Internet.
iOS 8.0.1 was released by Apple to fix errors related to health tracking applications, third-party keyboards, improve security, and optimize the Reachability feature on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iOS 8.0.1 restore version (about 2 GB in size) is still available for download from Apple's system.
