Several leaders of the ruling parties such as Parliament Speaker Zoe Konstantopoulou or Energy Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis were also present to watch the protesters.
Although the fate of Greece is still in question, most protesters support Greece leaving the Eurozone. A series of slogans such as “Say no to the euro”, “You can’t threaten the people, the country can’t be sold”… were raised throughout the protest.
It is known that at the Summit taking place on June 22, the European Commission will make public the report of the 5 leaders on the future of the Eurozone. And according to observers, the conference will be a turning point not only for Greece but also for the Eurozone.
