Recipe 1: 1 soft-shelled turtle, 30g wolfberry, 30g Chinese yam, 15g chasteberry. Clean the soft-shelled turtle, cut into pieces, stew with the herbs until tender. Recipe 4: 50g soft-shell turtle meat, 5g corn silk, 4g hawthorn, 2 jujubes, 1g fresh ginger, spices and enough water. Slice soft-shell turtle meat, wash corn silk, thinly slice seeded hawthorn, remove seeds from jujube, and thinly slice ginger. Put all in a pot and simmer until tender. Lesson 5: 1 soft-shelled turtle, 20g Chinese yam, 20g longan, enough spices. Clean the soft-shelled turtle, remove the gall, slice the meat, put it in a bowl with the longan and Chinese yam, then steam until soft, add enough spices.

Eat hot. Uses: Treat chronic cough, nourish the brain and improve thinking ability.

Lesson 6: 30g soft-shell turtle shell, 1 pigeon, a little wine and enough spices. Dry soft-shell turtle shell, grind into powder and put into the belly of a cleaned pigeon with wine and spices, steam until soft, eat during the day. Uses: Treats menstrual obstruction due to body weakness.
