Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang plays the role of a pho seller in “Peach, Pho and Piano” - the film that caused the website of the National Cinema Center to “crash” on February 18.
In recent days, the film Dao, Pho and Piano has become a phenomenon in the Vietnamese film industry when it "swam against the tide" and continuously sold out tickets in the Tet film race.
More importantly, on February 18, the number of viewers wanting to watchPeach, Pho and PianoToo many visitors to the National Cinema Center’s website caused the system to crash. Due to the sudden increase in demand from the audience, the Center decided to increase screenings and extend the screening time.

"Peach, Pho and Piano" is a hit at the box office.
Share about the impressive debut ofPeach, Pho and Piano, artist Nguyet Hang (playing the role of the pho seller) said she was very surprised by the film's appeal in recent days:“I got information from relatives and friends that the movie was “selling out”.
Honestly, I was very surprised by this news. The film being loved and received by the audience like this is a joy for the actors and our production crew."
The female artist said:“When I received the script, I was very impressed with the story in the film.
During the process, we were told more about the project by director and screenwriter Phi Tien Son. This is a film project that Phi Tien Son has been nurturing for a long time, so the script was carefully crafted.
What impressed me most was the film's rather new and engaging storytelling. However, how new and engaging it is, perhaps the audience will need to watch the film to fully appreciate it. I think this is a film worth watching."

Nguyet Hang and Anh Tuan couple play the role of pho sellers.
Sharing about her role in the film, artist Nguyet Hang revealed:“In Dao, Pho and Piano, my husband and I acted in the same character for the first time. This was also an interesting highlight for me and my husband (artist Anh Tuan).
However, my husband and I only played a small role in the film, portraying a couple who sell pho and want to stay in the citadel to bring the quintessence of the typical dish of their place to the soldiers.
Our characters don't have much "room to act", nor do we need to portray our personalities or inner thoughts too much, but being able to act in this movie and work together, we feel very happy and excited.
Our role is just a small touch to help the picture of Hanoi during the war period be portrayed more vividly."

This is the first time Nguyet Hang and her husband play a married couple on film.
Nguyet Hang also expressed her joy whenPeach, Pho and Pianoconsidered a "phenomenon" of the "ordered" film genre:“In the context of movies being “raced” for “huge” revenue during Tet, it is very rare for a “commissioned” movie like Dao, Pho and Piano to be enthusiastically received by the audience as it is now.
Although it cannot compete in terms of revenue with hot films like Mai by Tran Thanh, I believe that this is also a good sign for historical films that are "ordered". This shows that the audience has begun to pay more attention to this genre of film, hopefully there will be more well-received films like Dao, Pho and Piano".
