Nghe An Newspaper won Third Prize at the National Film Festival on Traffic Safety
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of January 14, in Hanoi, the National Traffic Safety Committee held the Awards Ceremony of the 2023 National Traffic Safety Film Festival.
Attending the award ceremony were members of the Party Central Committee: Nguyen Van Thang - Minister of Transport, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Le Ngoc Quang - General Director of Vietnam Television.

Also attending were representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Defense, Vietnam Journalists Association and leaders of general departments, bureaus and divisions of ministries, representatives of central and local press agencies; authors and groups of authors whose works were honored at the film festival.

The National Traffic Safety Film Festival has been organized by the National Traffic Safety Committee every two years since 1997, with the aim of disseminating laws, raising awareness and traffic culture of everyone, towards a civilized and safe society.
In 2023, the film festival will be themed "Rule of law to build traffic culture". After the launch, the Organizing Committee received more than 300 entries in 2 categories: Reportage and Short Film/Clip. Thereby, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded 22 works by groups and individuals.
The documentary film won 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes; the short film/Clip won 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes; the Organizing Committee also awarded the audience's favorite film award to 5 works.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee highly appreciated the quality of the participating works, demonstrating the investment and meticulousness in the work. The winning works met the criteria of content and form in accordance with the regulations and rules of the Award.

Following the theme of "Rule of law to build traffic culture", many works continue to mention issues of concern to the whole society, such as handling violations related to alcohol concentration; the issue of stopping and parking cars... The works also proposed and suggested many new solutions to control and reduce traffic accidents, as well as discovered typical examples, creative models, good experiences in ensuring traffic order and safety.
He also noted that ensuring traffic safety and order requires the entire political system to continue to take more drastic action and implement synchronous solutions. This requires the role and contribution of press agencies and journalists in continuing to pay attention and join hands with the National Traffic Safety Committee, ministries, branches and localities in the work of disseminating, popularizing and educating traffic laws. At the same time, actively participate in responding to film festivals to have more entries, more good works and higher awards.
