(Baonghean.vn) Along with the emulation movement of labor production and economic development, parishioners of Tan Loc hamlet, Phuc Loc parish, Tan Thanh mountainous commune, Yen Thanh district are unanimously donating land and opening roads according to the criteria of new rural construction.

The family of parishioner Nguyen Thi The (Tan Loc hamlet) - is one of the households with land and housing area located along the main road of the hamlet, with a total length of 52 m. When there was a policy to expand the traffic route to implement the criteria for building new rural areas of the commune and hamlet, her family was forced to demolish all 3 main gates, the solid fence system and encroached more than 1.5 m into the residential land area. How much money and effort had been spent and now they had to destroy it themselves, who could bear it? But because the road was clear, the sidewalk was airy, making the village road more beautiful, convenient for travel, she and her family discussed and agreed to be the pioneers in voluntarily donating land, dismantling the construction according to the planning boundary of the hamlet.

With the consensus of the parishioners, the village roads in Tan Loc have been cleared, paved and concreted according to new rural construction standards.

Ms. The confided: "When we first started, my grandmother felt regretful, but with the policy of the neighborhood, for the future of our children... the family volunteered... During the time of making the concrete road, the family mobilized sometimes 2 people, sometimes 4 people, sometimes when it rained heavily, we also wore raincoats, hats and joined the neighbors to make the road in time. After finishing the village road, my family also invested more than 20 million VND to rebuild the surrounding wall, main gate and also made more than 20 meters of ditch to hold the model road for the neighbors to follow."

Tan Loc - is a Catholic hamlet, with more than 200 households, over 1,200 people, implementing the renovation of the Party and State, especially implementing 10 contents of the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas, live a good life and follow the religion" launched by the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee, Tan Loc parishioners have actively promoted economic development, focused on shifting the structure of crops and livestock, applied scientific and technical advances in production, expanded industries and services, bringing people's lives to develop more and more, everyone has built spacious houses.

However, Tan Loc is a densely populated hamlet, with narrow, muddy roads, making it difficult to communicate with other hamlets and communes in the area. Therefore, when there was a policy to expand and upgrade roads according to the new rural planning, everyone was eager and excited to implement the resolutions of the Party cell, Party committee, and hamlet committee, voluntarily donating land and dismantling constructions.

With support from the People's Committee of Tan Thanh commune in terms of materials and machinery to concrete the village roads, the parishioners here, without being told, voluntarily rolled up their sleeves and worked together to build a solid road. Mr. Nguyen Van Trien - Head of Tan Loc hamlet, said: "As soon as the policy was announced, the hamlet held a meeting to discuss and reach an agreement, then issued a resolution to implement it. During the process, together with the parish committee, we propagated and mobilized people to voluntarily dismantle the construction. For households lacking manpower, the hamlet arranged people to coordinate with their families to clear the road, mobilize forces to gather materials, and join hands to pour rocks to make concrete roads according to plan."

Mr. Dau Xuan Lien - Head of the Executive Committee of Phuc Loc Parish added: "Before the resolution of the hamlet committee, our Parish Executive Committee highly agreed, together with the secretary, hamlet chief, and organizations to mobilize each household. Through that, the people were very excited, voluntarily donated land, cleared the corridor, and handed over the site to the hamlet. Thanks to that, the solidarity between the village and the parish and the local government has been tightened. Seeing the effectiveness of the policy, now walking on the clean, beautiful concrete roads, everyone is happy, increasingly trusting the leadership of the Party".

With the consensus of the people, the unity and coordination in leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the government and the Parish Council, up to now, Tan Loc hamlet has widened the road from 4-5m to 9m, with 70 households in the clearance area, having donated a total length of more than 2,000m of solid embankment; encroaching at least 1m deep, at most 2m, not to mention the gate system and ancillary works. By mobilizing the people and the support of the local government, after the clearance, Tan Loc hamlet has concreted more than 800m of road, 3.0 - 3.5m wide. In the coming time, the hamlet will continue to direct the people to clear and complete the entire road. In the roads with poor roadbeds, if people need to build ditches to clamp the road, the hamlet will support more cement, striving to meet 100% of the criteria for building new rural areas.
