"Fire Lady" visits the phone kiosk

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 12:20 pm on November 18, a fire broke out at Hieu Duyen phone repair and sales kiosk (Hamlet 12, Quynh Hau Commune, Quynh Luu District).

Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuong said that at that time, he discovered smoke burning inside the telephone booth of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu's family. He immediately ran to the booth, kicked down the door and used 2 fire extinguishers to put out the fire. Many people living nearby saw the incident and also went into the house to get buckets of water to help Mr. Phuong put out the fire. After 20 minutes of trying to put out the fire, the fire was controlled.

At the scene, the family's and guests' cell phones and two computers were burned by the fire.

According to statistics, the damage caused by the fire was nearly 60 million VND. It is known that at the time the fire was burning, Mr. Hieu and his wife were not at home.

The cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
