Three Vietnamese record holders in top 30 Asian record holders

Information from the Vietnam Record Organization said that Vietnam has three record holders who have just been approved by the Asia Record Organization to be in the top 30 Asian record holders in 2013.

They are Meritorious Artist-Director Nguyen Van Luong, Painter Truong Han Minh and Painter Dang Ai Viet.

These record holders officially became Asian record holders at 9:00 a.m. on May 18, 2013.
Meritorious Artist-Director Nguyen Van Luong, Vietnam's record holder in 2012 with the record "Director with the most films on the theme of the country and people of the sea and islands" was recognized as a Vietnam record on October 27, 2012.

He has made 221 films about the land and people of Vietnam's coastal islands from 1998 to present, including feature films, documentaries, and reportage films.

He was recognized by the Asian Record Organization as "Director with the largest number of films about the country and people of the sea and islands in Asia".

Painter Truong Han Minh is a Vietnamese record holder and a member of the Advisory Council of the Vietnam Book of Records Center. He became a record holder in 2010 with the “Longest ink painting of flowers”, with the theme “Prosperity and Longevity”.

The painting was later auctioned for nearly 2 billion VND to help poor disabled children across the country.

From 1977 to 2013, an estimated 200 of his special ink paintings were auctioned for charity.

He became an Asian record holder with the record: "The ink painter with the largest number of paintings auctioned for charity".

Artist Dang Ai Viet, a Vietnamese record holder since 2010 with two Vietnamese records: "Female artist who painted the most portraits of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers" and the record "First woman to use a Chaly motorbike to travel across 63 provinces and cities to sketch portraits of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers".

She was recognized by the Asia Record Organization as the Asian record "The person who painted the most portraits of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers".

It is expected that the Asian Record certificate will be awarded at the end of May 2013, during the visit and working session in 3 Indochinese countries of the General Director of Asian Records./.
