Berlin last month imposed a veto on Ukraine’s purchase of anti-sniper systems and rifles to destroy drones, Reznikov said, but the article noted that Germany later softened its stance on the rifles by recognizing them as non-lethal weapons.
The head of Ukraine's Defense Ministry said the country would seek to purchase weapons within the framework of bilateral agreements with allies, such as with the US, UK, Lithuania and France.
According to FT, the new German government's stance under Chancellor Olaf Scholz on providing weapons to Ukraine remains unclear./.
