What books will the student have in three years?
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien acknowledged that in reality, the current general education program has a lot of overlapping knowledge, the previous class learns and then the next class learns again. Therefore, the general education program after 2015 will design fewer subjects and shorter study time. At the same time, the focus will be on what to teach and how to teach, not how much to teach like now.
The issue was discussed and consulted with experts and educators at the workshop on the subject system and educational activities in the general education program after 2015, held on October 26 and 27.
