Ms. Yingluck asked the Constitutional Court to postpone the hearing.
The Nation reported that on April 17, Thailand's caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra asked the country's Constitutional Court to postpone the hearing by 15 days in a lawsuit related to her personnel transfer orders from previous years.
Ms Yingluck, who is scheduled to appear in court on April 17, asked her lawyer to submit the petition to the court, asking for more time to prepare evidence.

However, the Thai Constitutional Court has yet to decide whether to accept Ms. Yingluck's request or not.
Earlier this month, the Constitutional Court approved a petition by a group of lawmakers against Ms. Yingluck, alleging that she violated the constitution when she decided to transfer Mr. Thawil Pliensri from the position of Secretary General of the National Security Council (NSC) in 2011./.
