BAC A BANK started construction of a 3-storey classroom building in Dien Bien
On the morning of October 30, the construction of a 3-storey classroom building of the Dien Bien District Ethnic Minority Boarding High School, Dien Bien Province officially began. This is a meaningful gift for the young generation of the historic land of Dien Bien, aiming to bring a safe and modern learning environment to local ethnic minority students.
Safe, modern learning environment for ethnic minority students
Fully funded by BAC A BANK through the For Vietnamese Stature Fund and the People's Army Newspaper, the project has many important meanings, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory "famous in five continents, shaking the world"; on the occasion of organizing the bicycle race "Returning to Dien Bien Phu - People's Army Newspaper Cup 2024".
The 3-storey building is spaciously designed with full amenities, providing a safe, modern and comfortable learning environment for students of Dien Bien District Ethnic Boarding High School, expected to be completed in 2025. This is also a tribute to a heroic revolutionary homeland.
We understand that, in the journey of learning and development of students, having a safe and comfortable learning space will open up better opportunities. With this 3-storey classroom building, we hope that students will have more motivation to study and become excellent citizens, contributing to the construction and development of Dien Bien and Vietnam.

As a mountainous and border province with special difficulties, Dien Bien has a low economic starting point, an unsynchronized socio-economic infrastructure, low local budget revenue, mainly dependent on the central budget, and socialized investment in the education and training sector still faces many difficulties, especially in communes and districts in mountainous and border areas.

Meaningful social security projects nationwide
In Dien Bien alone, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and the Fund for Vietnamese Stature have accompanied the State Bank of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security to sponsor the construction of nearly 300 solidarity houses; supported the construction of Tham Pung school in Hua Mun village, Pu Xi commune, Tuan Giao district; implemented the Livelihood Support Program for women who suffered violence in Muong Ang district to borrow capital with an interest rate of 0 VND; and many other meaningful activities with an amount of up to tens of billions of VND.
At the cycling race "Back to Dien Bien Phu - People's Army Newspaper Cup 2024", Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, For Vietnamese Stature Fund accompanied the People's Army Newspaper to donate 8.8 billion VND to implement social security activities, repaying gratitude such as: Building 10 houses (worth 50 million VND/house) for veterans, youth volunteers, and meritorious people in Nghe An who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign; donating 30 school sanitation works (each worth 60 million VND) in the provinces of Hoa Binh, Son La, Lai Chau; especially sponsoring 6.5 billion VND to build a 3-storey classroom building for the Dien Bien District Ethnic Boarding High School.
