The North has very heavy rain causing flooding during the last two days of the weekend.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, during the weekend of August 29-30, the Northern region will have moderate to heavy rain; rainfall in mountainous areas will be about 100 - 150 mm, in some places over 200 mm; in midlands and plains about 50 - 100 mm.

From August 31 to September 3, in the coastal areas of the Northeast and the Northern Delta, there will be heavy to very heavy rain; rainfall will generally be 200 - 300mm, with some places over 400mm. From September 4 to 5, rain will tend to decrease and temperatures will gradually increase.

In the Central region from August 29 to September 5, there will be sunny days, some places will be hot, some places will have rain in the afternoon and evening, temperature will be 26-36 degrees Celsius. Particularly from August 31 to September 2, in the North Central region, there will be moderate to heavy rain.

In the Central Highlands and the South from August 29 to 30, it will be sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night. From August 31 to September 5, it will be sunny, with thunderstorms only appearing in a few places in the late afternoon.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien - Hue, the North is cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms; the South is cloudy, sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Southwest wind level 2 - 3. There is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature is from 24 - 27 degrees Celsius, the highest is from 29 - 32 degrees Celsius, in the South 32 - 35 degrees Celsius.

From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, the clouds change, sunny during the day, some places have hot sun, in the evening and at night there are showers and thunderstorms in some places. Southwest wind level 2 - 3. Lowest temperature from 25 - 28 degrees Celsius, highest from 33 - 36 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands region: variable clouds, scattered showers and thunderstorms. Light wind. Lowest temperature from 21 - 24 degrees Celsius, highest from 29 - 32 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Cloudy, sunny during the day, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Light wind. Lowest temperature from 25 - 28 degrees Celsius, highest from 32 - 35 degrees Celsius.
