Young doctor examines and cuts hair for disadvantaged children in educational areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 11, at Quynh Vinh B Primary School, Hoang Mai Town Youth Union organized a program to examine, give medicine, cut hair for free and give gifts to children and families in difficult circumstances in Quynh Vinh parish.

The program had the participation of 21 doctors from the young doctors club and 10 volunteers from the City Youth Union who examined, provided health consultation and gave free medicine to more than 200 people including families in difficult circumstances, the elderly, the lonely and cut hair for 70 students of Quynh Vinh Primary School.

Here, people were screened, had their blood pressure measured, had ultrasounds, and received health advice about common diseases by a team of young doctors and nurses.

At the same time, the organization distributed free medicine with a total amount of more than 10 million VND. This is a meaningful work to help students and families in difficult circumstances to access health care services.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented 20 gifts to 20 students of Quynh Vinh B Primary School and the City Youth Union presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged households in the area with a total amount of 12.5 million VND.
