Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital 'brings warm Spring' to Tuong Duong villagers

This year, the charity trip "Live to love" of Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedic Hospital visited the people of Tung Huong and Tan Huong villages, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district, on January 27.
Accordingly, the hospital's volunteer doctors and nurses organized medical examination and treatment activities, distributed free medicine and gave gifts to students and families with especially difficult circumstances in the area.
At the program, 217 people from two villages Tung Huong and Tan Huong, Tam Quang commune, were examined, given free medicine and health consultation. Many people were discovered to have many diseases that require surgical treatment such as: hip osteoarthritis, lumbar disc herniation...; congenital malformations in children such as: syndactyly, polydactyly. In addition, with the support of ultrasound machines, doctors also detected diseases of the digestive tract and thyroid gland for local people.
On this occasion, Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedic Hospital presented 194 gifts to students of Tam Quang 2 Kindergarten and Primary School and some facilities and supplies for the kindergarten; presented 10 gifts to students with special difficulties and 50 gifts to families in difficult circumstances. The total value of the program, examination and gift giving was more than 140 million VND.
The joy of the children and local people when receiving the delegation's affection has given great motivation to the hospital staff to continue the journey of "Living to love"; continuing to set voluntary footprints in many remote and disadvantaged villages... in Nghe An.
