Bac Son (Quy Hop): Repairing roads before the storm season

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 7, the People's Committee of Bac Son commune, Quy Hop district simultaneously mobilized nearly 500 people in 7 hamlets and villages to repair local damage to the road surface, reinforce the sidewalks and renovate and add ditches on both sides of the road from Hieng village to Manh village with a total length of 5 km.

Officials and people of all hamlets and villages in Bac Son commune have organized dredging, repairing, upgrading and digging weak sections, the road surface has been covered with graded sand and gravel, which has been completed with a total value of nearly 10 million VND from the local budget.

Although this road is maintained annually, the weak foundation causes it to deteriorate every rainy and stormy season, causing landslides, mud, and potholes, making it difficult for people and vehicles to travel.

Within 1 day, with the spirit of volunteerism, cadres and people from hamlets and villages leveled and cleared grass on both sides of the road to serve the travel needs of people, ensuring traffic safety and limiting the deterioration of the road surface before the flood season in Bac Son.

Commune members repaired the road from Hieng village to Manh village.
