Although the flavor of Tet is still on the ancestral altar, despite the drizzle and cold, but following the district and commune's planting schedule, from the morning of the 3rd day of Tet, people here do not hesitate to be present in the fields to fertilize, harrow the land, and pull up rice seedlings to plant rice. As for Mrs. Nguyen Thi Luyen, hamlet 7, said: My family has more than 1 mau of rice fields, to plant rice in time, I mobilized my children and grandchildren who are students who are home for Tet to help their parents plant rice. Although it is hard, everyone is enthusiastic to roll up their pants and go to the fields, each one has a job, so on the first day of the year, my family was able to plant more than 1 sao of rice.

Meeting comrade Le Ngoc Hao - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, who was also working with his wife and children in the fields to cultivate rice. Mr. Hao quickly informed: This spring crop, Bac Thanh planted 310 hectares of rice. Of which, 80% is hybrid rice, the rest is pure rice and high-quality rice. To achieve the target of hybrid rice yielding 76 quintals/ha, pure rice yielding 70 quintals/ha, the local government resolutely directed the hamlets not to let people plant before Tet. By regularly propagating the planting schedule on the commune's loudspeaker system, 100% of households followed the planting schedule. Although the atmosphere of Tet is still bustling, in the fields, people's production is bustling. On the first day of production of the year, the whole commune planted about 20 hectares of rice.
