According to scientists, Noctiluca scintillans is an algae that is harmful to marine life as well as the fishing industry. This is a single-celled organism that usually eats plankton and is also food for many other organisms. This type of algae grows very quickly when nitrogen and phosphorus released into the ocean by humans increase. |
