Master Bui Xuan Vinh - lecturer of the Faculty of Electronics - Vinh Technical University and teacher Nguyen Van Nam - Faculty of Electronics, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College said that the heating plate of the YASUTO rice cooker is a heating plate heated by a filament (old technology, heating in one direction from bottom to top). The so-called "heat belt" around the pot, on the pot lid is just an induction wire, wrapped in tin foil, has no heat generating function. The pot lid is similar to other pots of other brands on the market. The thermal IC of the YASUTO and TECNEX pots are identical and both have the symbol KSD 301, 250V 10A 750C. The thermal relay of these two pots is just 2 thin copper sheets without a protective cover like the pots of the SHARP, CUCKOO brands... According to Master Vinh, "exposing" the thermal relay like this can easily cause electric leakage and explosion. The power cord for the YASUTO rice cooker is of poor quality, small, weak, short, and has no stopping point. Therefore, the power cord is the part that Ha Tinh consumers often report as being broken.
The surprising thing is that the certificate of the General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality - Conformity Certification Center - QUACERT No. QC 0328-11-00 certifies that the YASUTO brand rice cooker manufactured at Gia Dung Viet Nhat Company Limited is a rice cooker with anti-shock protection level: level 0, in accordance with National Technical Regulations.
The surrounding “heat belt” of the Yasuto rice cooker is just an induction wire wrapped in tin foil, which has no heat dissipation effect.
