On June 15, the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly entered its 5th working week. Under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu, the National Assembly spent an entire day focusing on discussing the draft Civil Procedure Code (amended).

According to the program, this week the National Assembly will discuss the draft Penal Code (amended); the draft Criminal Procedure Code (amended); the draft Law on Fees and Charges; the draft Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies; the draft Law on Temporary Detention and Imprisonment. The National Assembly will vote to pass the Resolution on the National Assembly's Supervisory Program in 2016 and pass the following draft laws: Law on Organization of the Government (amended); Law on Organization of Local Government; Law on Military Service (amended); Law on Veterinary Medicine.

Also in the week, the National Assembly voted to dismiss Ms. Chau Thi Thu Nga, National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi city, from the National Assembly delegate position.

Previously, last week, the National Assembly spent 2.5 days questioning 4 ministers: Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Education and Training and questioning Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. At the end of the questioning session, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung assessed that the Government members had answered directly to the content of the questions, did not avoid thorny and complicated issues, explained and clarified many issues raised by delegates, took personal responsibility and proposed solutions for implementation. At the same time, they also showed their determination to change the situation.../.
