If the patient has all the above symptoms, no sweat, floating but rapid pulse, no thirst..., use Ma Huang Jia Truat thang: 12g Ma Huang, 8g Licorice, 7 almonds, 8g Cinnamon, 16g Atractylodes (raw). Boil the medicine with 2 bowls of water, reduce to 1 bowl, drink hot at once. The patient should avoid wind, if the person sweats lightly, it is good.
If the fever and cold come back in the afternoon, urination is difficult, thighs are tired and afraid of wind, use Ma Huang Xing Ren Coi Yi Li Cao Tang: 2g Ma Huang, 20g Coi Yi, 10 almonds, 4g licorice. Boil the medicine with 2 bowls of water, reduce to 1 bowl, drink hot at once. The patient should avoid wind, feeling a little sweat is good.
If the body is heavy, sweating spontaneously, afraid of wind, the pulse is floating and weak... Use the Fangji Huangqi decoction: 4g Fangji, 3g Atractylodes macrocephala, 4 slices of fresh ginger, 2g licorice, 5g Astragalus, 1 jujube. Boil with 3 bowls of water, reduce to 1 bowl, drink hot at once.
After drinking for a while, you will feel like ants are crawling on your skin, from the waist down it will be cold as money, so cover yourself with a warm blanket and let it sweat, then the disease will be cured. If you have asthma, add 2g of ephedra; if the stomach is not in harmony, add 4g of white peony; if the qi is going up, add 4g of cinnamon; if the lower body is cold, add 4g of te tan.

At first, drink 1 bowl, if you sweat a little then stop; after eating and drinking, if the discomfort arises again, drink another half bowl of medicine.
Combine acupuncture and massage the acupoints at the painful and swollen joints and the area around the painful joints. Whole body acupoints: Hegu, Fengmen, Fengchi, Xuehai, Zusanli, Gedu.
Acupuncture point location:
- Hegu: close the index finger and thumb together, the point is at the highest point of the index finger and thumb muscle.
