Central Youth Union Secretariat organizes gratitude journey in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The Central Youth Union Secretariat delegation visited and organized gratitude and social security activities in some localities of Nghe An province.
On the morning of July 17, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2021), the 74th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2021), the Central Youth Union delegation led by comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized gratitude and social security activities in Nghe An.
Also attending were Central Executive Committee Secretaries Ngo Van Cuong and Nguyen Tuong Lam; Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Van Luong.

During the meaningful gratitude journey in Nghe An, the delegation held an incense and flower offering ceremony at Chung Son Temple - the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh, located on Chung Mountain, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District. The members of the delegation respectfully expressed their admiration and gratitude to the family members of President Ho Chi Minh.

Next, the delegation of the Central Youth Union visited the Truong Bon National Historical Site in My Son Commune, Do Luong District. Here, the delegation offered incense to pay tribute to the heroes, martyrs, and generations of Youth Volunteers who devoted their youth to the revolutionary cause, heroically falling to protect the Fatherland, for the independence and freedom of the nation.

On the same morning, on behalf of the Central Youth Union Secretariat, comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union also presented 7 gifts to former Youth Volunteers in Do Luong district, each worth 1 million VND.

On this occasion, the Central Youth Union Secretariat also presented 400 N95 standard medical masks to the Northwestern General Hospital, 100 sets of Covid-19 protective clothing and a charity house for former Youth Volunteers worth 80 million VND./.
