(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 12, in Cang village - Chau Dinh commune (Quy Hop), the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front and the national great unity festival took place. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Tran Cong Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office. Also attending were comrade Cao Thanh Long - Secretary of the Quy Hop District Party Committee, representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and many local people.

Ban Cang, Chau Dinh commune has 98 households with 452 people. 100% of households are Thai ethnic people. In recent years, thanks to the attention of the Party and the State, the material and spiritual life of the villagers has been constantly improved. Up to now, the total income of the hamlet has reached 6.2 billion VND. Of which, the income from sugarcane has reached 5.2 billion VND.

Through economic development and poverty reduction movements, the poverty rate in Cang village has now decreased to 27.5%. Implementing the campaign of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in residential areas launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent times, the people of Cang village have continued to maintain the title of a cultural unit, the landscape and environment of the village are clean and beautiful. In 2014, the village had no third child, no social evils, no drug addicts. In the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, in Cang village, 15 households voluntarily donated land to open roads with a total area of nearly 2,500m2. In particular, the family of Mr. and Mrs. Lu Thi Cham donated over 1,000m2 of land for the village to build a Community Cultural House.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Cong Duong - Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office congratulated and praised the efforts of the Party Committee, Party cell, Front Working Committee and people of Cang village. He affirmed that, with a poor residential area and difficult life like Cang village, the people are united, exemplary, always supporting and helping each other, the cultural identity values are always preserved and promoted. Comrade Tran Cong Duong also hopes that people will continue to promote the spirit of great national solidarity, building Cang village to develop more and more.
