Northwest Steering Committee visits Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 12, within the framework of a working trip to Ky Son district, a delegation of the Northwest Steering Committee led by comrade Nguyen Canh Viet - Deputy Head of the Committee visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station.

Accompanying the delegation were comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Full-time member of the Northwest Steering Committee and members. Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station is assigned to directly manage 22.5 km of national border (including 5 km of river border) between Vietnam and Laos.

With the mission of protecting the sovereignty and security of the border gate and maintaining order and social safety in the area, over the years, officers and soldiers of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station have achieved proud achievements in their work and are one of the typical units, leading in the patriotic emulation movement of the Provincial Border Guard.
