At Chau Khe and Tung Huong Border Guard Stations, the commanders of the two Border Guard Stations briefly reported on the implementation of their tasks and the force building work of their units. Both units were newly established in 2008, with difficult and inadequate facilities. However, officers and soldiers clearly defined their tasks, united to overcome all difficulties to successfully complete their assigned tasks. In 2012, both units firmly protected the sovereignty and security of the border, effectively fought against all types of crimes; coordinated with localities to effectively carry out the work of helping people eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, participate in economic, cultural and social development...; visited, supported and gave gifts to policy families and poor households to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Comrade Le Kha Dau praised the efforts that officers, soldiers and people have achieved in the past time; at the same time, noted the tasks that the unit needs to carry out in the coming time, which are: Closely unite with the forces stationed in the area to firmly protect the sovereignty and security of the border, maintain political security and social order and safety in the border area; Effectively prevent and combat crimes operating in cross-border networks and groups; focus on replicating effective models to help people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty... Especially, during the traditional Lunar New Year of the nation, the two units need to focus on combat readiness work, ensuring safety for people to enjoy the New Year.
Giving gifts to Chau Khe commune (Con Cuong)
On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Tung Huong Border Guard Station, Chau Khe and the Party Committee of Chau Khe Commune (Con Cuong) and Tam Quang Commune (Tuong Duong). The Provincial Border Guard Command also presented gifts and New Year wishes to officers and soldiers of the two units and the locality.
