(Baonghean.vn) - On August 6, the Military Command of Hung Nguyen district organized a one-sided command-staff exercise at one level on a map.

The exercise includes three phases: changing to combat readiness, advising on changing the locality into a defense state; combat preparation; practicing defensive operations on the map.

Officers and staff of the District Military Command have promoted initiative and creativity in preparing for the drill, performing well their assigned duties, and the drill situations are close to the actual situation of the district's armed forces and combat subjects.

Through the exercise, we continue to thoroughly grasp Resolution 28 of the Politburo (10th tenure) on "building provinces and centrally-run cities into solid defense zones in the new situation"; Resolution 8 of the Central Committee (11th tenure) of the Party Central Committee on "Strategy for building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation".

At the same time, this will further transform the staff capacity, combat coordination, and sensitivity in handling situations of cadres, agencies, and the District Military Command to continuously improve the combat readiness of the district's armed forces, contributing to maintaining and building the district into a solid defense area.
