Hung Nguyen Military Command: Summary of 5 years of implementing Campaign 50

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 26, 2014, the Military Command of Hung Nguyen District organized a competition, sports festival and a 5-year summary of the implementation of the campaign 50 on "management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" in the period 2009-2014.

Attending were the Commanders, mobile platoon leaders of 23 communes and towns and all officers, soldiers, civil servants of the district Military Command. Also attending was Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Binh, Deputy Head of the Technical Department - Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

After 5 years of implementing the 50 campaign, the standing agency of the 50 campaign has proactively performed its advisory role to the Party Committee and the District Military Command to lead and direct agencies, units and localities to promote the implementation of the 50 campaign extensively in the armed forces of the entire district. Thereby, it has brought about encouraging results, which is a lever to promote technical activities, contributing to improving the quality of weapons and technical equipment to ensure good training, drills, combat readiness and building a strong and comprehensive unit, preventing fires and explosions, loss of weapons and technical equipment, ensuring absolute safety of weapons and technical equipment, and traffic safety. The district armed forces have regularly ensured timely weapons and technical equipment for training and combat readiness tasks, and well implemented the general inventory of weapons and technical equipment at 0:00 on July 1 every year.

In the work of exploiting good and durable technical equipment over the past 5 years, local agencies and units have promoted dynamism and creativity, taking advantage of all resources, materials and funds to properly implement principles, using them in conjunction with the work of preserving, maintaining and sealing weapons and equipment.
