Que Phong District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee: Promoting its role and tasks in the new period
(Baonghean) - In 2014, the Que Phong District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee successfully completed its tasks, worthy of its advisory role to the District Party Committee, directly the District Party Committee's Standing Committee, on the Party's mass mobilization work.
Comrade Mac Dang Khue, Head of the Que Phong District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, said: Through the implementation of the Mass Mobilization Regulations of the district's political system, the responsibility of the government has been clearly demonstrated; cadres, civil servants and public employees have promoted the spirit of service and sense of responsibility to the people, increased responsibility in receiving citizens; during the year, 100% of citizens' complaints and denunciations were resolved in accordance with the law; overcoming bureaucracy, authoritarianism, causing trouble for the people, respecting and promoting democracy... The government at all levels has had many positive changes in implementing the Mass Mobilization Regulations of the political system; concretizing the directives and resolutions of the Party and the State to promote socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security, improving people's lives.

The Fatherland Front and mass organizations have also strengthened their grip on the grassroots, propagated and mobilized people of all walks of life to effectively implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, and help each other to stabilize their lives; especially the people in the resettlement areas of the Hua Na Hydropower Plant and the Minh Chau Economic Zone in Tri Le commune; mobilized Mong people not to migrate freely, not to replant opium poppies, to reclaim land to grow more rice, and to stabilize their lives.
The coordination program between the People's Mobilization Committee and the military, police, ethnic affairs department, and border posts is effective, regularly exchanging information, promptly grasping the ethnic and religious situation, especially in border communes, mobilizing people not to migrate illegally, not to replant opium poppies.
Implementing Project No. 06 - DA/TU dated April 1, 2014 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on building models and typical examples, promoting the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization", the Que Phong District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee advised the Party Committee to issue Decision No. 978-QD/HU dated July 2, 2014 to establish the Steering Committee for the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement; Decision No. 979-QD/HU dated July 2, 2014 to promulgate the Working Regulations of the above Steering Committee. The "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement has been implemented by 46/47 grassroots party organizations to develop plans and promote implementation in their agencies and units.

In 2014, the whole district built 119 models (16 district-level models, 103 grassroots-level models), specifically: Economic development field: 24 models, including: 19 collective models and 5 individual models; cultural - social field: 29 models, including 17 collective models, 12 individual models; national defense - security field: 17 models, including 11 collective models, 6 individual models; political system building: 21 models, including 14 collective models and 7 individual models; new rural construction: 28 models, including 12 collective models and 16 individual models. The honoring and commendation of the model and typical example of "Skillful mass mobilization" was carried out by 14/14 communes and towns, and a commendation conference was held on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Party's tradition of mass mobilization work.
Regarding the activities of the Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, in addition to the work of advising, guiding, urging and inspecting, it has implemented a program of coordination with the Fatherland Front, the Youth Union, and the District Compensation and Site Clearance Council to conduct contacts and dialogues with the Mass Mobilization Bloc, Party Cell Secretaries, village chiefs and people in Tri Le and Nam Nhoong communes; in Huoi Dua (Thong Thu commune), Pieng Van (Dong Van commune). Through contacts and dialogues, the Mass Mobilization Committee has reflected to the Party, authorities, and relevant agencies at all levels to promptly resolve outstanding and pressing issues among the people, typically: Illegal gold mining, compensation for site clearance of Hua Na hydropower reservoir; Electricity, road, school, domestic water projects, policies for the people, especially the resettlement area of Hua Na hydropower plant and Minh Chau economic zone (Tri Le commune), the implementation of items of Resolution 30a/CP program, and the implementation of ethnic policies for people in mountainous and border areas have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party and authorities at all levels. In the construction of new rural areas, also from doing a good job of mass mobilization, the people have highly responded, voluntarily donated 90,541m2 of land, contributed 35,990 working days, and built 39 km of rural concrete roads. As a result, up to now, 5 communes have met 4-5 criteria; 6 communes have met 6-7 criteria; 3 communes have met 8/19 criteria.
With these achievements, in 2014, the Que Phong District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee was honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the Provincial People's Committee. According to comrade Mac Dang Khue, this is the motivation for the collective of cadres and civil servants of the Que Phong District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to continue to strive and better promote their advisory role in mass mobilization work in the coming years.
