(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of January 15, Nghe An Newspaper, along with a representative of readers, a businessman in Ho Chi Minh City, visited the kindergarten in Pich Nieng village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district to visit and give gifts to the children. The gift worth 5 million VND, including equipment and school supplies, is the heart of Nghe An Newspaper readers for the children in the highlands.
Representatives of Nghe An newspaper readers presented gifts to teachers and students of Pich Nieng kindergarten - Tri Le commune - Que Phong.
Attending the gift-giving ceremony for teachers and students of the school were representatives of the Que Phong District Education Department, Tri Le Commune People's Committee and the Pich Nieng Village Executive Committee. Pich Nieng School is over 5 km from the commune center, attracting 19 children, most of whom are Kho Mu ethnic children, the rest are Mong and Thai ethnic children who come to study and board daily. Currently, the material conditions of the classrooms are makeshift (bamboo and thatch and there is no boarding house), and the learning equipment for the children is very lacking. Tri Le Commune is a particularly difficult commune in the mountainous border area, with 31 villages but only 1 centralized school, and the remaining 15 schools are in remote villages, making it very difficult for children to travel.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, representatives of the Department of Education and the Board of Directors of Tri Le Kindergarten thanked the readers of Nghe An Newspaper and benefactors for their timely attention and support for the children; the support and companionship of readers of Nghe An Newspaper is a source of encouragement for teachers and students to complete the task of "cultivating people" in the difficult border mountainous area./.
