(Baonghean.vn) -As reported by Nghe An Newspaper in previous articles about the illnesses of Vo Kim Phuc (born in 2011) and Vo Kim Loc (born in 2013), children of Vo Kim Dung (born in 1983) and Nguyen Thi An (born in 1987) in village 5, Thach Son commune, Anh Son district, many readers at home and abroad have sent money and material support so that the family can afford to take the two children for treatment.

On June 12, the two children were taken to the National Children's Hospital by their families. After a week of treatment, Loc's health and condition had many positive changes, so the hospital discharged him. Phuc was diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa (congenital scald), and the consultation recommended a bone marrow transplant surgery, with a cost of about 600 million VND, but the success rate was only about 30%. Currently, due to his poor health, Phuc is receiving protein infusions to improve his physical condition. During his treatment at the Hanoi Children's Hospital, his family received 20,700,000 VND from a group of readers in Ho Chi Minh City, and 15,000,000 VND from some readers in Hanoi.

Previously, through Nghe An newspaper, readers at home and abroad donated 20,736,000 VND. Representatives of Nghe An newspaper transferred 17,236,000 VND to the family.
