Discussing solutions for supplying materials for agriculture

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 8, 2014, in Vinh city, Nghe An Farmers' Association and Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation held a conference to summarize the agricultural service cooperation program between the two units in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015.

Implementing the coordination program, in 2014, the Farmers' Associations at all levels coordinated with Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation to provide farmers with deferred loans of over 12,500 tons of various fertilizers with a total value of over 80 billion VND. The main focus was on supplying for the 2013-2014 Winter-Spring crop production, reaching over 9,900 tons. Typically, the Farmers' Associations of Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Do Luong, and Yen Thanh districts implemented the coordination program well, with a supply volume of 1,200 to 2,000 tons in 2014. In addition, 2014 was also the first year that the Farmers' Associations and Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation coordinated to supply seeds and build a number of models applying technical advances to production.

At the conference, leaders of the Farmers' Association and Directors of Agricultural Materials Companies of districts, cities and towns shared experiences as well as frankly discussed difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the coordination program to find solutions to better serve agriculture in 2015, first of all to meet the demand for seeds and fertilizers in the 2014-2015 Winter-Spring crop.
