Discussing solutions to speed up the progress of Quynh Lap 1 Thermal Power Plant project

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 11, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the site of the Quynh Lap 1 Thermal Power Plant project in Dong Hoi Industrial Park and worked with the Coal - Mineral Industry Group, Electricity Corporation - Vinnacomin (project investor).

Currently, the Quynh Lap 1 Thermal Power Plant project has completed the work of measuring the terrain map and setting up boundary markers in the field and is carrying out the work of preparing a detailed construction planning project at a scale of 1/500 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee before August 15.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested relevant levels and sectors to create favorable conditions for project implementation.

With the project's construction area of ​​about 103 hectares, during the implementation of the topographic survey and detailed planning, there is a phenomenon that households continue to build houses, fences, level the ground, expand the area of ​​aquaculture ponds... Therefore, to ensure the progress of land acquisition and clearance according to the contents agreed between the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group and the Provincial People's Committee, at the working session, the investor requested the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Town to soon deploy the determination of the current status of land use, counting, measuring, and making a land acquisition and clearance plan. In particular, there must be timely measures so that people in the project area do not bury graves, build new or renovate, expand construction works...

Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of the Coal - Mineral Industry Group reported on the project implementation process.

At the meeting, the location for resettlement of households in the project area and the location for the groundbreaking ceremony, expected to take place before October 10, 2015, were also agreed upon. The investor also requested the units: Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board, Department of Construction, Hoang Mai Town to agree on the location to soon complete the documents to submit to the competent authority for approval and complete the Project Management Board building before the commencement of the main factory package.

Leaders of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board committed to creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the project implementation process of the Coal - Minerals Group, Electricity Corporation - Vinnacomin. To ensure the project progress, the Vice Chairman requested the investor to closely coordinate with the province to promptly resolve any problems arising during the project implementation. At the same time, he assigned the main responsibility to the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Town and related departments and branches to promptly carry out tasks under their management, ensuring favorable conditions for the investor to implement the project on schedule.
