On the afternoon of August 8, Quynh Luu District Youth Union held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union in the first 6 months of 2013 and hand over the Youth Union bases under Hoang Mai Town Youth Union. Attending were representatives of the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Party Committee and Hoang Mai Town Party Committee, along with 82 Youth Union base secretaries of Quynh Luu District and Hoang Mai Town.

In the first 6 months of 2013, the Youth Union of Quynh Luu district has achieved many achievements: organizing the study and dissemination of the Resolutions of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels for the 2012-2017 term for more than 100 key grassroots Youth Union cadres; implementing a contest to learn about the Resolutions of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels with 82 participating establishments; coordinating with the Sports Center to organize the Pioneer Cross Country Race with the participation of 500 athletes from 43 communes and towns across the district...
In the work of building and consolidating the Youth Union and Association organizations, participating in Party building, in the first 6 months of the year, 63 Youth Union classes were opened for over 3,100 outstanding youths, admitting 1,800 members; advising and introducing 150 outstanding members to attend Party sympathy training classes and admitting 120 comrades to the Party.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Youth Union announced the Decision to establish Hoang Mai Town Youth Union by the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee, and handed over the affiliated youth union bases to Hoang Mai Town Youth Union. Accordingly, Hoang Mai Town Youth Union was established with 15 affiliated youth union branches; the provisional Executive Committee consisted of 12 comrades with comrade Le Van Luong as Secretary. After the separation, Quynh Luu District Youth Union had 66 youth union bases with 11,200 members; Hoang Mai Town Youth Union had 15 youth union branches with 3,813 members.
