Accordingly, after nearly 6 months of receiving two tigers from Quynh Luu District Police captured in an illegal trade case. On the day of handover to the Center for Conservation and Care of Wildlife of Pu Mat National Park, both tigers were quite seriously injured.
These two tigers were adopted by the Center on June 14, 2014. These two tigers were seriously injured after being run over by traffickers and thrown out of a car onto the road. After nearly 6 months of care and treatment, the two tigers are now developing well.

Because the Pu Mat National Park Wildlife Care and Conservation Center does not have enough facilities and funding to raise the animals long-term, Pu Mat National Park has asked for permission from the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to hand over these two animals to the Soc Son Wildlife Center (Hanoi) for continued raising.
Currently, the two tigers, the male weighs 98kg and the female weighs 82kg, and have been handed over to the Soc Son Wildlife Center (Hanoi) for continued raising.
