(Baonghean.vn) - On December 15, the Dien Chau Fatherland Front Committee organized the handover of a solidarity house worth 150 million VND to Ms. Phan Thi Thanh, a parishioner of Ben Den parish, Dien Ky commune.

Ms. Thanh is a single woman and has very difficult circumstances. After many years of living in an old house that is leaky and severely damaged. Therefore, the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Chau district in coordination with the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ky commune mobilized all levels, sectors, relatives, and neighbors to join hands to build a solidarity house for her.

The house started construction on October 12 with a total cost of 150 million VND, of which the district and commune Fatherland Front Committee supported 22 million VND, the district Women's Union supported 3 million VND, the commune Business Association, Tram Huan Private Enterprise supported 7 million VND, the parish Pastoral Council and the Sacred Heart Women's Association supported 12 million VND, the rest was supported by family, brothers and sisters, and local people.
