Handing over charity houses to poor parishioners of Son Hai commune

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 19, Division 324 (Military Region 4) coordinated with Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) to organize a ceremony to hand over a gratitude house to the family of parishioner Nguyen Thi Nam in village 9, Son Hai commune.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nam's family is a poor policy family, currently worshiping martyr Tran Van Bac (husband's younger brother) who contributed to the resistance war against the US to save the country, sacrificed on October 10, 1972. Her husband, Mr. Tran Van Nien, passed away in 2009, leaving her alone with 2 school-age children. In the past, she has encouraged family members to always live a good life and follow the Party's policies and the State's laws.

4-level house with usable area of ​​70m2²worth 245,000,000 VND was completed on schedule after more than 2.5 months of construction with the help and support of the family and the locality, along with the sense of responsibility and deep affection of the officers and soldiers of Regiment 1 (Division 324). Of which, the unit supported 70,000,000 VND from the "Day for the Poor" fund, the family contributed 70,000,000 VND. The total construction work of 700 working days by officers and soldiers of Regiment 1 (Division 324) was worth 105,000,000 VND.

This is a meaningful project of gratitude from the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 Command, the Party Committee of Division 324, the Command of Regiment 1 and local leaders towards policy families and poor households, thereby contributing to strengthening the relationship between the army and the people.
