Handing over charity houses to poor households
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 29, the Women's Union of Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to Ms. Ho Thi Man, in hamlet 10 - a poor family with especially difficult circumstances.

Currently, Ms. Man's family is taking care of her disabled mother-in-law. Both husband and wife are receiving social security benefits, and one child is often sick. To help Ms. Man's family overcome difficulties and improve their lives, recently, the Women's Union of Quynh Thach commune has mobilized members, businesses, and philanthropists in the area to support, along with the help of the district's Fatherland Front, to build a "home of love" for Ms. Man. The house was started in early June 2014, and has now been completed and put into use, with a total value of 80 million VND. During the construction process, the association's executive committee regularly inspected and urged workers, and directed branch 10 to be responsible for helping and encouraging the family throughout the construction period.
This is the 6th house named "Warm House of Love" built from the contributions of women in Quynh Thach commune in the past 4 years.

On the same afternoon, at hamlet 11, Hung Thong commune, Hung Nguyen Fatherland Front coordinated with Hung Thong commune to hand over the great solidarity house to Ms. Le Thi Phuong.
Ms. Le Thi Phuong's family is in a particularly difficult situation, her husband died early, she raised 3 children to go to university alone. After more than 3 months of construction, with the help of the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Thong commune and the efforts of the family, the nearly 60m2 house was completed and put into use, with a total value of 120 million VND, of which the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Hung Nguyen branch supported 25 million VND. This is the 16th "great solidarity house" that the Fatherland Front of Hung Nguyen district has built, inaugurated and handed over to disadvantaged families.
